Are you interested in becoming a member of our team? There are many different ways you can become involved with TMUG and help the UTSC community be better equipped to recognize, respond to mental illness and to successfully promote mental wellness.

Our team is unique, in that there are many opportunities to get involved without being a part of our executive team. Members are able to volunteer in a number of ways:

MEMBERSHIP

Being a general member for TMUG has many perks!

Discounted or free admission to TMUG events
Priority listing to certification opportunities such as ASIST and MHFA
Volunteer opportunities- We’re happy to provide volunteer hours if needed. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Help set up for events and workshops
- Help make announcements before lectures
- Participate in student-led share circles
- Help spread likes and shares for TMUG events and posts on Facebook
Discounts to TMUG partner organizations
Access to the TMUG Members' Space

Club members are official members of TMUG.

This can be done at our tabling stations around school and at TMUG events. We will have our tables set up on:

Tuesday March 13 at TBA from 1-5PM
Tuesday March 20 at TBA from 1-5PM
Monday March 26 at TBA from 1-5PM

Your $5 goes towards fundraising for events and workshops, and towards discounts for our general members!

How Can I Become a General Member?

What are the benefits of being a general member?

A TMUG general membership lasts a year, which includes the fall, winter and summer term. Once the year is over, we would love for you to volunteer with us the next year!
